2019-20 Winter Reston Travel Basketball

Reston Travel Basketball teams have participated in the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League (FCYBL) for more than 30 years. Teams in this league are exposed to a more competitive level than RYBL’s House program. Numerous Reston Travel Basketball players have gone to play on area high school varsity teams, college teams, and professionally, including the NBA.

FCYBL is a well-established winter league. Its participating members are youth basketball organizations from across Northern Virginia. Among other things, FCYBL establishes league policies, schedules all games, and provides referees. For more information on FCYBL, visit www.fcybl.org.

Players wishing to be considered for Reston Travel Basketball teams MUST register prior to Travel Try-outs. (This applies to both new and returning players. Each player MUST register.) Online Registration is required. Players who are not selected for/Travel will be given the opportunity to play in the RYBL House League. Parents/Players are not required to submit the registration fee until selected and accepted a spot on a Reston Travel Basketball Team.

RYBL 2019-20 Winter House League

RYBL House Basketball - Welcome to the Reston Youth Basketball House league program.The RYBL House league program is focused on three priorities: Skills Development, Sportsmanship, Fun!  

RYBL House league groups players according to age. RYBL has found this best matches levels of coordination and abilities to promote the best experience for all.

Parents may request for players to be assigned to an older league during the registration process. Play up requests are not guaranteed and must be approved by the age group commissioners.

Divisions include: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15 years old groups. There is the potential for a boys 16-18 division based on the number of registrations. Players are sorted based on birth year and gender.
